“E-List” means “Euthanasia-List”; Euthanasia is when dogs are put down.
We work with one of the LARGEST county shelters in the USA. The shelter takes in between 15- and 22-thousand dogs every year. Space is a huge problem. Overbreeding and overpopulation can mean more euthanasia. Every year, 1.5 million cats and dogs are euthanized. 6 million enter shelters every year. Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) is one of the top 3 shelters in the country for animal intake per year. MCACC is unfortunately limited on space, and some dogs just don’t make it out alive. We work tirelessly to save dogs’ lives before they are put down.
